Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts and AACS awarded a $1,300.00 Educational Scholarship this month to Halli Vehrs of Steger, Illinois.
The Scholarship which is issued six times a year, is awarded to those who not only exemplify an eagerness to expand their makeup education but, to those applicants who also possess an 80% or high grade point average. Applicants must also submit a 500 word essay entitled “Why I Dream of Becoming a Makeup Artist”. In addition to her willingness to learn, Vehrs telling essay and impressive academic achievements made her the obvious choice for Westmore Academy’s Career Education Scholarship.
